About the Book
“Good God!: A Single Girl’s Rocky Path to Finding True Love” is written for women who believe in God, but feel worn down by waiting.
Through the voice of a fictional character, Ava (inspired by real-life experiences), Cherita explores the emotional, spiritual, and practical realities of modern dating, unanswered prayers, and delayed desires.
Rather than glorifying waiting or offering platitudes, “Good God” invites readers into a deeper question: What if the waiting isn’t punishment — but instead, preparation?
In "Good God," readers will explore:
- Why dating is a spiritual decision, not just a romantic one.
- How to stop asking God to bless our plans—and start making decisions God can bless.
- The purpose hidden inside waiting seasons.
- Spiritual maturity, surrender, and trust when the answer is “not yet.”
- How to reclaim wholeness without rushing love.
Readers describe the book as relatable, introspective, and entertaining — a rare blend of faith, honesty, and lighthearted storytelling.
